RdF explosion proof assemblies are approved
for installations in Class I Div.1 Groups B, C, D;
Class II Div. 1 Groups E, F, G; and Class III
hazardous locations. The spring-loaded or fixed
sheathed platinum RTD units suit applications
worldwide. Multiple standard options enable the
user to customize a configuration for new or
replacement applications. RdF’s superior
proprietory stainless steel spring-load
ensures fail-safe thermal contact while
preventing any sheath rotation during vibration.

Three basic styles of construction:
(1) Fixed sheath
(2) Spring-loaded sheath
(3) Spring-loaded sheath with lagging.
